KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A man trying to rekindle a relationship with a woman he met on Tinder was robbed by the woman and her friends after he posted a picture of him holding a large amount of cash on social media.An Overland Park, Kansas police spokesman said the man and woman met each other on Tinder in 2017 but decided to remain just friends.Recently, the man posted a picture on Snapchat holding a large amount of cash and boasting about the post. The woman he met on Tinder saw the post and asked if she could come over.The man agreed, but when the woman came over on May 23, she was joined by two other men who attacked the victim, cutting his head and fracturing his nose.Overland Park Police say three people were arrested.Johnson County Prosecutors have charged Lauren Butler, 18, Martez Taylor, 22, and Kain O’Keefe, 18, with one count each of aggravated robbery. They remain in the Johnson County Jail on ,000 bond. 944

JOSHUA TREE NATIONAL PARK (KGTV) -- After four days alone in the desert, Paul Hanks was found injured - but alive - Thursday night. The 54-year-old went missing while hiking the Maze Loop on Sunday, March 11, The High Desert Star reports. He left San Diego on Sunday, but never checked into his hotel. The Maze Loop is the same trail where the bodies of Rachel Nguyen and Josseph Orbeso were found near last October, nearly three months after they were reported missing in July. RELATED: Missing couple in Joshua Tree National Park died in murder-suicideHanks' pickup truck was found in the same parking lot as Nguyen and Orbeso. Just after 4 p.m. Thursday a member of the Joshua Park Search and Rescue team located Hanks, Gerorge Land, the park's public information officer said in a Facebook video. "It appears he fell about 20 feet," Land said. "He sustained some head injuries, we don't know the exact nature of all of his injuries...but he was conscious, he was talking to rescuers."10News is working to learn more about Hanks' current condition. KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Ten people were asked to quarantine after a potential COVID-19 exposure at the Kansas City Chiefs' season opener, the Kansas City, Missouri, Health Department announced Thursday.According to the department, one person who watched the game from the group's box tested positive for the virus one day after the game.The department said everyone who was around the individual was notified and have agreed to quarantine.The Chiefs said staff who interacted with the person who tested positive wore personal protective equipment.On the field, so far every player and coach on the Chiefs and the Houston Texans teams have tested negative for the virus.One Arrowhead Stadium groundskeeper also tested positive.The Chiefs said in a statement Thursday morning they are cooperating with the health department."Compliance with the protocols remains a key component to making this plan effective. KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Rep. Steve Watkins, R-Kansas, faces criminal charges associated with voting irregularities.Shawnee County District Attorney Mike Kagay announced Tuesday that Watkins has been charged with interfering with law enforcement by providing false information, voting without being qualified and unlawful advance voting. All three charges are felonies.Watkins also faces a misdemeanor charge of failing to notify the Department of Motor Vehicles of a change of address.Kagay said his office was notified of the allegations in December and asked the Shawnee County Sheriff’s office to conduct an investigation.An affidavit in the case was submitted Tuesday by the sheriff’s office to Shawnee County prosecutors.Kagay said the sheriff’s office is handling the investigation.Watkins serves as representative for Kansas’ 2nd Congressional District, which includes Topeka, Lawrence, Atchison and other parts of eastern Kansas outside the Kansas City area.This story was originally published by Sam Hartle on KSHB in Kansas City, Missouri. 1052
