SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Two people are dead after a car and semi-truck collided during a Border Patrol pursuit in Otay Mesa Tuesday night, agents say. According to Border Patrol, two people were seen crossing over the border into the United States early Tuesday night. Agents described them as a man and a woman.The agency told 10News a getaway car was waiting for the pair. The driver of the car led agents on a high-speed chase reaching speeds of more than 100 miles per hour. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Two people were injured after a fire broke out on a boat in Mission Bay, engulfing the vessel, Thursday.San Diego Fire-Rescue responded to the fire on the 30-foot vessel off Ingraham St. just after 3 p.m.Two people were burned by flames and jumped from the boat. They were transported to UCSD Medical Center, though the extent of their injuries is unknown.Witnesses said they initially saw smoke but thought the fire would be extinguished. Using Qualcomm's chips, San Diego-based OneScreen built a device that takes temperatures and uses facial recognition to allow or deny access to different workplaces and schools.Additionally, the GoSafe can assist health investigators in contact tracing.
