He says he supports the protests. He even took part in #blackouttuesday on his restaurant's social media pages. But the violence, he cannot condone. "When you're tearing up stuff in your own neighborhood, that's not helping the cause at all," Bankhead said. Since opening up his restaurant eight years ago, he had seen great success. Special counsel Robert Mueller's team said Friday that former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort lied on five major issues after agreeing to cooperate with prosecutors, including his "contact with administration officials."In a heavily-redacted document released Friday, Mueller's team also said Manafort lied about his interactions with Konstantin Kilimnik, his Russian associate who Mueller has said has ties to the Russian military intelligence unit accused of hacking the Democrats, and how they may have worked together to tampered with witnesses following Manafort's arrest last year.The investigators say they have evidence about electronic communications related to Kilimnik and travel records. SORRENTO VALLEY, Calif. (KGTV) - A Marine veteran suffered major injuries after a wrong-way driver crashed into him on I-5 early Saturday morning.Friends have identified the victim as Luis Maldonado. He was transported to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla. His service dog Jax, who was also in the car, was taken to an animal hospital and is expected to survive.The wrong-way driver died at the scene. California Highway Patrol suspects he was under the influence of alcohol. He has not been identified.Maldonado's friends have set up a GoFundMe account to help pay for the mounting medical costs.  622
