FRANKFORT, Ky. — Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron on Thursday joined a coalition of 22 state attorneys general in sending a letter to the United States Senate, urging the body to immediately hold a hearing and vote to confirm Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court.In the letter, Cameron wrote that Barrett's "unwavering commitment to a judicial philosophy that prioritizes restraint, humility, and respect for the rule of law" should lead to a quick approval from the Senate.Cameron released the following statement in support of Barrett."I'm proud to join this coalition of attorneys general in support of Judge Barrett, and I'm confident that Senate Majority Leader McConnell will make sure she is confirmed. As former legal counsel to Senator McConnell, I was fortunate to be involved in the confirmation process for Justice Neil Gorsuch, and I know the qualifications and legal background required to be confirmed to our nation's highest court. Fewer women are scheduling mammograms due to COVID-19 fears, according to a local doctor.At TriStar Summit Medical Center, Dr. Rhonda Halcomb with Centennial Women’s group, said they’re being careful.“From the time that you check in here, patients are pre-screened and screened, we provide masks and hand sanitizer here in the building, and here in the office," said Halcomb.Even though we’re in the middle of a pandemic, she said routine mammograms are still important.“Breast cancer, in general, is the number one cancer in women.”She’s sad that fewer people are showing up, or postponing their routine checks.“It breaks my heart in general that people are scared to take care of themselves,” Dr. Halcomb said.First hand, she has seen how mammograms can save lives.“Breast cancer to me has affected several of my family members. Former Fleetwood Mac singer and guitarist Lindsey Buckingham is suing the band for making him go his own way.In court documents obtained by CNN, Buckingham claims that lost an estimated million in upcoming tour proceeds?after he was involuntarily expelled from Fleetwood Mac in January. He is suing Stevie Nicks, Christine McVie, John McVie and Mick Fleetwood for breach of fiduciary duty and breach of oral contract.It's not entirely clear what led to Buckingham's departure from the group, though his suit outlines debate about touring schedules.Fleetwood Mac was originally founded in 1967 by Peter Green and was named after two of its band members, Fleetwood and John McVie. Green left the band in 1969. Buckingham joined in 1974, the same year as Nicks, Fleetwood Mac's lead singer.Buckingham wrote some of the band's most well-known songs, including "Go Your Own Way," which was the lead single off the band's highly successful 1977 album, "Rumours."Fleetwood Mac has had a tumultuous history. The group took a hiatus in 1982 and when they agreed to go back on tour in 1987, Buckingham backed out at the last minute. French President Emmanuel Macron tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday, according to CNN and the Associated Press.Macron's office confirmed Thursday that the 42-year-old Macron received a test after experiencing symptoms of the virus, which later came back positive.Macron will isolate himself for seven days but will continue to carry out his duties as president remotely.Macron's wife, Brigitte, 67, has no symptoms but will also self-isolate. She tested negative for the virus on Thursday, according to the Associated Press.According to CNN, Macron has met with several other world leaders in recent days, many of whom have now said they plan to isolate. Among them is Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez and European Council President Charles Michel. French Prime Minister Jean Castex is also self-isolating.The Associated Press also reports that Macron met with the prime minister of Portugal on Wednesday.Macron's planned trip to Lebanon next week has been canceled.Macron is just the latest world leader to test positive for the virus. President Donald Trump contracted the virus in October, which resulted in a short stay in the hospital. Former NFL player Jonathon Martin has been taken into custody by Los Angeles police after appearing to post a threatening Instagram story that caused a school to go into lockdown."The individual we believe responsible for the social media post in question has been detained and our investigation is ongoing," the Los Angeles Police Department said in a statement to ESPN.On Friday, an Instagram account appearing to belong to Martin posted a story that included a photo of a long gun and ammunition.
