But in a shocking turn of events, Underwood turned around and said goodbye to both remaining women in order to ask Randolph for another chance.Underwood was able to chase Randolph down before she left Portugal and she agreed to meet his family and travel with him to Mallorca, Spain. They dated for a week and even had their night in the fantasy suite. But big questions still remained: Are they engaged? Did Underwood lose his virginity?Underwood and Randolph did get back together in Portugal and are still together. But they are not engaged, not living together and just taking things day by day. Underwood did reveal that he recently moved to Los Angeles to be closer to Randolph. As for whether Underwood lost his virginity, he and Randolph played coy and would only say they did what was "best" for their relationship. Host Chris Harrison took that as a yes.Although fans may have been disappointed that this season did not end in an engagement, Underwood did get a chance to hand out his final rose to Randolph during the live portion of the finale.Sometimes slow and steady wins the race, folks. 1484

A 23-year-old Oregon woman was arraigned on Monday and is facing criminal charges after being accused of ripping off a student's hijab and intentionally desecrating the hijab. Multnomah County (Oregon) District Attorney Rod Underhill announced that Jasmine Renee Campbell, pictured above, would face charges on two counts of bias crime in the second degree, one count of attempted strangulation, one count of harassment and one count of criminal mischief in the third degree. According to Underhill's office, Campbell allegedly approached a 24-year-old Portland State college student from behind and grabbed her hijab. Underhill said the unnamed victim was able to push Campbell away, which is when Campbell then allegedly forcibly took the hijab from the victim. Campbell was then accused of using the hijab to rub it on and across multiple exposed sexually intimate parts of her body, Underhill said, citing court documents. The student, who Underhill's office stated was from Saudi Arabia, said that she no longer feels safe wearing a hijab in public and is relying on alternative methods to cover herself, Underhill said, citing court documents. 1160

Valerie Grantham is like a lot of people who have desk jobs. "I’m very sedentary when I’m not working out,” she says. “I work at least 9 or 10 hours a day, sitting at a computer." Three to four times a week, she gets her exercise in. But she says as she's gotten older, it's a lot harder to recover. That's why she decided to try the latest fitness craze: a stretch studio. "A lot of times when we see people with tight glutes, we see a lot of back pain," says Ben Yates, a stretch practitioner and general manager at the 538

The clock strikes midnight, and it's time to lose the extra 20 pounds. Well, not so fast. "If you're wanting to lose weight, and there is actually a reason behind it, I think it's going to give you more power,” says registered dietician Jessica Crandall Snyder. Maybe the reason is to play with your kids or grandkids, run a marathon or lower your cholesterol. Whatever it might be, Snyder says to start slow and spend the month of January testing the weight loss water. "It's kind of like a relationship or marriage,” she says. “You don't just jump into marriage, right? You go through the dating process to see if it's the right fit." Next, tell a friend about your weight loss plan. It can help hold you accountable. Then, begin working on replacing your old habits with new ones. For example, you can start with getting rid of the junk food in your house and replacing it with healthy food. Now, create a plan."I always say there should be three levels of plans,” Snyder says. If you're ever tempted to try a fad diet, Snyder says that’s a recipe for disaster. "I’ve seen so many people fail and get off track,” she says. “Then, it’s not a resolution or healthy habits, and it's not going to be successful." Remember, it's not always about the number on the scale. "The pounds themselves don't actually reflect the success along the way,” Snyder says. “It’s more of the energy and habits you have along the way." So before you ring in 2019, find the meaning behind your resolution. "You have to have a bigger meaning, a bigger purpose as to why you're doing that to really achieve success," Snyder stresses. 1630
