The power outage was reported around noon and affected 24,067 people throughout San Diego. As of 7 p.m., the San Diego Gas and Electric outage map showed 3,352 customers without power. Neighborhoods affected include: City Heights, Chollas Creek, Oak Park, Kensington, Talmadge, W State College, Rolando, E State College and La Mesa.
