LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Adult film star Ron Jeremy pleaded not guilty Monday to 20 additional rape and other sexual assault charges involving 12 more women and a teenage girl in attacks dating back to 2004, bringing the number of his alleged victims to 17.In June, Jeremy, 67, entered a not guilty plea in response to allegations that he raped three women and sexually assaulted another in separate attacks going back to 2014.The District Attorney's Office amended the complaint Monday against the defendant -- whose real name is Ronald Jeremy Hyatt -- to include a total of eight forcible rapes and lewd conduct with a 15-year-old girl, among other counts.Jeremy is being held in lieu of .6 million bail, despite an earlier defense request to lower the amount, and was ordered back to court Oct. 28, when a date is expected to be set for a preliminary hearing.If convicted on all counts, the porn star could face up to 250 years to life in prison.Prosecutors said the victims range in age from 15 to 54 and that the teen was assaulted at a party she attended in Santa Clarita. County District Attorney’s Office said Nicolas Morales, 44, targeted women in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, Alhambra, and West Hollywood.The crimes happened between October 2016 and last January, according to KABC.Morales faces 27 felony counts including rape, forcible oral copulation, sodomy by use of force, sexual penetration by a foreign object, and attempted kidnapping. He also used a knife in the crimes, officials said.Prosecutors did not provide details about the crimes. They asked for bail to be set at .3 million.If convicted, Morales faces a maximum possible sentence of 300 years to life in state prison and lifetime sex offender registration.An arraignment scheduled for Tuesday was postponed until March 8. 902

LOS ANGELES (AP) — California’s Republican Party has acknowledged owning unofficial ballot drop boxes that state election officials say aren’t allowed. California election officials received reports about the boxes in Fresno, Los Angeles and Orange counties. On Sunday, the secretary of state issued a memo telling county registrars the boxes are illegal and ballots must be mailed or brought to official voting locations. State GOP spokesman Hector Barajas said Monday the party owns the boxes. He declined to say how many exist and where they are located. Barajas said the state’s law governing so-called ballot harvesting allows an organization to collect and return groups of ballots. He said the GOP’s boxes are no different than methods use by Democrats to ensure ballots get returned.Neal Kelley, the Orange County's registrar of voters, said official drop boxes are clearly recognizable and carry the official county elections logo. LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Mudslides, flooded freeways and dangerous driving conditions plagued the Southland Thursday thanks to a second straight day of rain, prompting road closures, mandatory evacuation orders in Orange County and fears that the situation could get much worse before the storm moves out. As of midday, no evacuation orders had been issued in the Malibu area, the scene of the recent Woolsey Fire that now has residents on the lookout for mud and debris flows. A mudslide during the morning commute inundated a stretch of Pacific Coast Highway near Leo Carrillo State Beach, forcing a full closure of the heavily traveled roadway clear north to Ventura County. Crews had the bulk of the mud cleared by midday, and the road was reopened. In Orange County, voluntary evacuation orders were issued Thursday morning for select neighborhoods near the Holy Fire, affecting the Trabuco Creek, Rose Canyon and Mystic Oaks/El Cariso areas.
