The restaurant industry has been one of the hardest hit in the last two months. “The numbers that have come in so far about restaurant closures and restaurant job losses, have been nothing short of staggering,” said Sean Kennedy with the National Restaurant Association.According to the National Restaurant Association, 8 million employees in the industry have lost their jobs. Three people were killed and nine injured when a vehicle was struck Tuesday by two Long Island Rail Road trains going in opposite directions, according to MTA Long Island Rail Road president Phillip Eng.The vehicle reportedly drove around railroad crossing gates in Westbury, New York, Eng said.
