LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Five people were shot at an illegal party attended by up to 200 people at a Los Angeles warehouse.The shooting was reported just after 12:30 a.m. Tuesday in a commercial area south of downtown LA.Police say people scattered after about 20 shots were fired. KABC-TV reported five shooting victims -- three males and two females -- were transported to hospitals and all are expected to survive. LOS ANGELES (AP) — Officials say a Northern California county has begun a door-to-door coronavirus testing pilot program in a majority Latino community that has become a virus hot spot. Santa Clara County volunteers started handing out self-testing kits in the East San Jose neighborhood of Silicon Valley’s San Jose last week, where 55% of the population is Latino and officials say many residents do not have the ability or means to get tested. Communities of color nationwide have been disproportionately affected by the virus. LOS ANGELES (KGTV) -- Video showed the horrifying moments a coyote crept up to a family and attacked a small child at California State University Los Angeles.Police say the coyote bit the 5-year-old on the leg just before 6:30 p.m., in the 5100 block of University Drive, according to the CSULA.Campus police responded to the incident and began searching the area for the animal. During their search, officers heard a female student scream and found the coyote approaching the student "in an aggressive manner," police said.Officers found the animal and at least one officer opened fire and wounded the coyote, according to the campus.The animal ran off after it was shot. At this time there are no updates on the condition of the child. Los Angeles Department of Public Safety officers are actively searching for the coyote. Although it's not common, coyotes have been known to occasionally attack humans. 944

He was 27.Presley's representative Roger Widynowski said in a statement Sunday to The Associated Press that she was "heartbroken" after learning about the death of her son Benjamin Keough. TMZ reports that Keough died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound Sunday in Calabasas, California.He is the grandson of the late Elvis Presley.
