Twitter says it has permanently banned an account linked to former Trump adviser Steve Bannon after he advocated violence against infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci and FBI director Christopher Wray.According to CNN, Twitter has banned the account for Bannon's podcast, "War Room: Pandemic." In an episode that was published on mutliple online platforms Thursday, Bannon falsely claimed that President Donald Trump had won the 2020 election (the race is still too close to call) and added that Trump should fire both Wray and Fauci in his next term."I'd put the heads on pikes. Right. I'd put them at the two corners of the White House as a warning to federal bureaucrats," Bannon said, according to CNN. "You either get with the program or you are gone."In addition to the actions by Twitter, the video was also removed from Facebook and YouTube. CNN reports that the video remained active on Facebook for 10 hours before it was taken down.The Washington Post also reports that the episode of the podcast was removed from Spotify's library.Bannon's comments come as some of Trump's supporters have begun dipping into more extreme rhetoric as the President's re-election chances wane. Uber has announced a new subscription service to help customers avoid price surging.Titled "Ride Pass", the new service is only available in five U.S. cities at the moment.According to the BBC, the service costs .99 a month in Los Angeles and .99 in Austin, Denver, Miami and Orlando. One former McKinley Elementary mother says it’s a shame it’s not put to better use.Kat Knight's living room is filled with watercolors, flashcards, unused lesson plans, play-doh, and rulers.“There’s nothing wrong with it," Knight said.“National Geographic, come on people," Knight said. "You can’t update that stuff; it’s history.”It was all found in dumpsters at McKinley Elementary.“I think they’re doing a great disservice to themselves and a lot of people," Knight said.Knight is homeschooling her 5-year-old daughter this year. The supplies she found is saving her thousands of dollars.“I might have saved a little more than ,000," she said. “I understand updating books, I get that. UNIVERSITY CITY (KGTV) -- Several University City residents were rescued from their apartment balconies early Monday morning after their building became flooded in up to four feet of water from a busted fire hydrant.The incident first started around 1:30 a.m. when a motorist in an SUV crashed into a fire hydrant in the 9000 block of Genesee Avenue, in front of the Canyon Park Apartments across from La Jolla Country Day School.The sheared fire hydrant created a geyser that flooded the adjacent apartment building. Several lower level units became submerged in up to four feet of water. Some residents were forced out onto their balconies as waterfalls cascaded through their apartments and into the canyon below.Firefighters were able to rescue those trapped on their balconies without further incident. It took crews about a half hour to turn off the water.The American Red Cross was called in to help 22 adults, six dogs and a cat arrange for another place to stay.The driver told officers he fell asleep before crashing into the fire hydrant, San Diego Police officer Tony Martinez said. 1107

Tumblr, a popular blog service owned and operated by Yahoo, says it will ban "adult content" from its site on Dec. 17.The decision comes just weeks after the Tumblr app was temporarily removed from Apple's App Store after child pornography was found on the site. Tumblr said in a statement to The Verge that the decision to ban adult content did not stem from that incident.Tumblr's new policy bans "explicit sexual content" and most instances of nudity. The site added that nudity "found in art," as well as nudity in the context of health-related situations and in the context of political protest or newsworthy events would still be permitted.Tumblr also says that written erotica will still be permitted on the site.After Dec. 17, any explicit content flagged by algorithms will be hidden from public view but not deleted from the site.
