Bank of America announced on Tuesday that they plan to stop lending money to companies that make assault-style guns used for non-military purposes.During an interview on Bloomberg television, Bank of America Vice Chairman Anne Finucane said, “It’s not our intent to underwrite or finance military-style firearms on a go-forth basis.”According to Finucane, the firm has had “intense conversations over the last few months” with those kinds of gun manufacturers to let them know "it's our intention not to finance these military-style firearms for civilian use."According to CNBC, the bank is a lender to Vista Outdoor, Remington and Sturm Ruger.The move comes as part of a national movement addressing gun control that was put into motion after a gunman opened fire on a Florida high school killing 17 people. Mary Stringini is a Digital Reporter for ABC Action News. Broadcasters Joe Buck and Troy Aikman were reportedly captured on a hot mic Sunday before the Green Bay Packers-Tampa Bay Buccaneers game criticizing and mocking the stadium flyover at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.According to a video obtained by Defector Media, the broadcasters wondered why a flyover was happening at all, with the stadium being filled at 25% capacity.According to CNN, Aikman was heard saying on the clip that the flyover wouldn't happen on a Kamala-Biden ticket.Aikman took to Twitter on Tuesday to discuss his comments."I love a flyover but It was odd to see one over a mostly empty stadium but I am an unwavering patriot that loves this country, has always respected our flag, supported the men and women in the armed forces as well as those in uniform who serve & protect and for anyone to suggest otherwise doesn't know me, my beliefs or what I have stood for my entire life," Aikman tweeted. 931

I want you to know exactly where we are with our discussions with the Big 3 leadership and protecting our members and their facilities during this international crisis.I announced this past Sunday that the International UAW had formed a COVID-19/Coronavirus task force with GM, Ford and FCA to implement enhanced protections for manufacturing and warehouse employees at all three companies.I want to be very transparent about what happened during our conversation Sunday with the Big 3. The UAW leadership, based on the World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations on how to protect ourselves and our communities, requested a two-week shutdown of operations to safeguard our members, our families and our communities. Your UAW leadership feels very strongly, and argued very strongly, that this is the most responsible course of action.The companies, however, were not willing to implement this request. They asked for 48 hours to put together plans to safeguard workers in their facilities. BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — A Louisiana state trooper has died following a single-vehicle crash hours after learning he would be fired for his role in the in-custody death of a Black man last year. Authorities say Master Trooper Chris Hollingsworth was mortally wounded in a highway crash early Monday. He had been placed on paid leave this month amid fallout from the May 2019 death of Ronald Greene, which has become the subject of a federal civil rights investigation and a wrongful-death lawsuit alleging he was brutalized by troopers following a high-speed chase.
