SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Apple says it will temporarily close all of its California storefronts, as the number of coronavirus cases surge in the state, according to multiple media reports.The company's Golden State locations, including stores in Carlsbad, Chula Vista, Escondido, and two in San Diego, were all listed online as "temporarily closed" on Saturday.Apple says each store will be open for pickup of existing online orders, previously scheduled in-store Genius Support appointments, and previously reserved one-on-one shopping appointments made through Tuesday, Dec. 22.No date was listed online for when the stores would fully reopen.The closures come as California continues to see a surge in COVID-19 cases. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Crowds gathering at Veterans Park in Ocean Beach may face fines if they don't follow the county's public health orders.Tuesday morning, city crews put up orange mesh fencing around the park, but a few hours later, witnesses took pictures of two men cutting the fence down.Residents and business owners have been complaining for weeks about large groups gathering on Wednesday evenings gathered to watch the drum circle and hang out in the park.Mark Winkie is the president of the Ocean Beach Town Council.
