"Orbit is a great product, but it does contain xylitol."Within a half-hour, he said, your dog's blood sugar will start to plummet."They can be lethargic. They can collapse. They can even have seizures," Byers said.So it's essential for all dog owners to check labels, he said."I think it's awful," Lovely said. "It is with regret that I must report to you that the company has decided to reduce its operations at Lake Charles Memorial Health System. As a result, we anticipate that we will permanently lay off approximately 205 employees on today."The company's website indicates that many facilities are now open for business.
