(KGTV) - The group leading the campaign to transform the San Diego County Credit Union Stadium site into a west campus for San Diego State University has major concerns over the question that will be posed to voters on the November ballot. Friends of SDSU is dismayed to the point that the issue could wind up in court. "Our position is we've correctly portrayed the initiative measure in our corrected version. (KGTV) One person is dead after being partially sucked out of the window of an airplane.Southwest Flight 1380 was forced to make an emergency landing after engine failure following takeoff from New York. (KGTV) - Sears in Chula Vista will shut down by February 2020, the chain’s parent company said Thursday. “Since purchasing substantially all the assets of Sears Holdings Corporation in February 2019, Transformco has faced a difficult retail environment and other challenges,” the company wrote in a news release. In all, 96 Sears and Kmart stores will be closed nationwide starting December 2, according to Transformco. When the process ends next year, the company will operate 182 remaining stores.
