(KGTV) — Stark similarities between a San Francisco brewery's beer can and the iconic soft drink cups used at In-N-Out prompted the burger chain to issue a cease and desist letter, though not without some light-hearted humor.Seven Stills Brewing recently crafted a new Neapolitan-style beer called "In-N-Stout," wrapped in a design resembling the much-loved burger chain's cup featuring palm trees and its signature yellow arrow. The resemblance is uncanny. So much so that it forced the burger chain to respond with a letter, politely asking the brewery to ditch the can.RELATED: In-N-Out sues Smashburger over new 'Triple-Double' burgerThe brewery posted the pun-laden letter on Instagram, with the caption, "We count 9. Can you find them all?""Based on your use of our marks, we felt obligated to hop to action in order to prevent further issues from brewing," In-N-Out wrote. "We hope you appreciate, however, that we are attempting to clearly distill our rights by crafting an amicable approach with you, rather than barrel through this."We look forward to resolving this in good spirits," the letter ends.RELATED: In-N-Out continues customer loyalty winning streakThe brewery has since said they will repackage?the beer, though it will remain a Neapolitan-flavored stout. They'll also be serving In-N-Out to the first 100 guests on release day.  1388

Witnesses positively identified the woman in a curb-side lineup, and the woman and driver were both arrested after a semi-automatic weapon and two magazines were found in the vehicle, SDSO said.Poway, which had a curfew Sunday and Monday nights, had no plans for a curfew Tuesday night, Mayor Steve Vaus tweeted Wednesday. The cities has first enacted curfews after Saturday night saw instances of looting, rioting, and vandalism in La Mesa following demonstrations at La Mesa Police Department against police violence. 2490

A 66-year-old woman was arrested and preliminarily charged Wednesday with driving into protesters in Indiana.According to the Associated Press, the woman police arrested was Christi Bennett.Hundreds of people were rallying and protesting through Bloomington Monday, following an alleged racist attack at Lake Monroe where several men attacked and apparently attempted to lynch Vauhxx Booker, a Monroe County Human Rights commissioner.Police say an electric scooter had been left in the roadway and a red Toyota passenger car drove up to it. The man and woman remained on the vehicle until it turned abruptly onto eastbound 6th Street, throwing both people off, according to police.Police say the owner of the car was staying at a motel in Scottsburg, Indiana. They traveled to Scottsburg and detained the man and woman involved. The man was interviewed and released. Bennett was transported to the Bloomington Police Department to be interviewed, but she and her legal counsel declined to provide a statement. She was arrested on the following preliminary charges:Criminal Recklessness, level 6 felony (two counts)Leaving the Scene of an Accident Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury, level 6 felonyLeaving the Scene of an Accident Resulting in Bodily Injury, class A misdemeanor.Bennett was released on a 0 cash bond within a couple of hours, the AP reported.Bennett has not been formally charged. The Associated Press contributed to this story.WRTV's Matt McKinney first reported this story. 1896
