NEW YORK (AP) — Apple Music is launching several new radio shows hosted by A-list musical acts, including Snoop Dogg, Shania Twain, and Carrie Underwood. The streaming service announced that it would debut two new radio stations Tuesday: Apple Music Hits focused on popular songs of the '80s, '90s, and 2000s, as well as Apple Music Country, dedicated to the country music genre. “For the past five years, if ever there was a meaningful moment in music culture, Beats 1 was there bringing human curation to the forefront and drawing in listeners with exclusive shows from some of the most innovative, respected, and beloved people in music,” said Oliver Schusser, vice president of Apple Music, Beats, and International Content in a news release. “Now, Apple Music radio provides an unparalleled global platform for artists across all genres to talk about, create, and share music with their fans, and this is just the beginning. NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio — Sometimes police get really strange calls. Such was the case for officers in North Ridgeville, Ohio, who received a call from a man who said while walking home from a train station, a pig started following him, and he didn't know what to do.Thinking he had just left the bar in Elyria named the Train Station, police went out to pick up the caller, who they believed was drunk.When officers arrived, they found the man stone-cold sober, complete with his four-legged stalker in tow.According to authorities, the man told them he was walking home from an Amtrak station when the animal decided to go for a walk with him.In the end, the pig was very cooperative and was placed in the back of a police cruiser and taken to the station. Police made the animal feel at home for a bit inside the department's dog kennels until the owner was notified, and it was picked up.Authorities didn't say if the owner was cited for having a pig on the loose. 1021

Nevada Highway Patrol has found the driver who hit one of their patrol cars on Monday.It happened around 5:03 p.m. local time Monday. A trooper was conducting a traffic stop on U.S. 95 northbound near Summerlin Parkway. Both vehicles were stopped on the right shoulder when another vehicle disregarded the Move Over Law and hit the trooper's vehicle.The collision resulted in the door being almost torn off. The driver of the other vehicle kept going.After the hit-and-run driver was found Tuesday, the person was ticketed but not arrested. She was issued citations for driving without a valid license, hit-and-run property damage and failure to stop and render aid, all misdemeanors.Fortunately, the trooper was not injured.NHP released body-camera video of the incident. 801
