BEIJING, Nov. 26 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Li Keqiang met with Montenegro Prime Minister Milo Dukanovic in Beijing on Thursday.
"FOCAC is the ideal platform for us to build upon those relations for the purpose of mutual benefit. We therefore look forward to engaging with the Chinese people to discuss further cooperation and investment," he said.
The meeting followed the generally upward trajectory of China-Japan ties since the two Asian neighbors reached a four-point agreement in November last year, which committed them to building crisis management mechanisms, fostering mutual political trust and improving their strategic relationship of mutual benefit.
During his keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) in Johannesburg, Mugabe thanked China for its unconditional support to African causes.
The two presidents reaffirmed joint efforts to push forward an ambitious and "legally binding" Paris agreement on the basis of equity and the principle of common but differentiated responsibilities and respective capabilities.
