SHANGHAI, May 19 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Xi Jinping held talks Monday with visiting Kazakh counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev.
Xi made the comments in a message published Friday on leading Cuban newspaper Granma in the wake of his state visit earlier this week to the island country, the last leg of his just concluded four-nation Latin America tour.
They also agreed to jointly celebrate the 70th anniversary of the victory of World War II.
The EcoPartnership is a platform for cooperation among local governments and organizations under the U.S.- China Ten Year Framework for Cooperation on Energy and Environment signed during the fifth SED in 2008.
"China is our leading trade partner. Brazil is the leading destination for Chinese investment in Latin America," noted Rousseff, adding that it shows the Asian giant is "a great ally of Brazilian development."
