KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Schlitterbahn Waterpark co-owner Jeff Henry has been arrested on charges related to the death of 10-year-old Caleb Schwab. Henry is charged with murder, 12 counts of aggravated battery and five counts of aggravated child endangerment.Henry was taken into custody in Texas and is currently being held by the U.S. Marshal Service.In a statement Monday afternoon, the company said it was not surprised at the charges against Henry."We as a company and as a family will fight these allegations and have confidence that once the facts are presented it will be clear that what happened on the ride was an unforeseeable accident," the statement read.Last week, several criminal charges were filed against Tyler A. Miles, a former assistant park manager, and the company itself. KANSAS CITY, Mo. – After more than a century embedded beneath the paint, researchers discovered a grasshopper beneath the brushstrokes in a Vincent Van Gogh painting at the Nelson Atkins Art Museum.Paintings Conservator Mary Schafer discovered the tiny grasshopper in the lower foreground of the landscape while working under a microscope. According to a news release from the Nelson, Schafer and other researchers hoped the grasshopper could be used to determine a more specific date on the painting.“It is not unusual to find insects or plant material in a painting that was completed outdoors,” Schafer said. “But in this case, we were curious if the grasshopper could be used to identify the particular season in which this work was painted.”Unfortunately, entomologists were unable to date the painting, but could determine the grasshopper had died before landing on Van Gogh’s canvas.Additional research on Van Gogh’s “Olive Trees” is underway. JOHANNESBURG (AP) — Zindzi Mandela, the daughter of South African anti-apartheid figures Nelson Mandela and Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, has died aged 59. At the time of her death, she was South Africa's ambassador to Denmark. Joel Arrona was heading to a San Bernardino, California, hospital with his pregnant wife for a planned cesarean section when Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers detained him, forcing his pregnant wife to complete the journey and deliver the baby without him.Arrona, 35, is "a citizen of Mexico illegally residing in the United States" and has an outstanding warrant for homicide charges in Mexico, ICE said in a statement.His wife, Maria del Carmen Venegas, 32, says the charges are "a misunderstanding" in Mexico.His detention took place Wednesday, when Arrona was driving to the 10 a.m. appointment and decided to stop for gas.
