BEIJING, June 5 (Xinhua) -- China will take various measures to push mass entrepreneurship and innovation, according to a decision made at a State Council executive meeting chaired by Premier Li Keqiang on Wednesday.

KEXUE is scheduled to arrive in Xiamen of China's Fujian Province on June 23.

"Nowadays, globalization, free trade and multilateralism have experienced some disruptions. Yet China's commitment to opening up as the general direction remains unchanged, and steps for wider opening will be better delivered," Li said. "We have made arduous efforts to this end in the past 40 years, and going forward, we will be as steadfast in pursuing opening up. What has happened shows that China's opening up has benefited the world, and boosted its own development."

He said the two countries should respect and give consideration to each other's core and just concerns to uplift bilateral pragmatic cooperation to a new level and further enhance the China-France comprehensive strategic partnership under the new circumstances.

"Both sides reaffirm their commitment to deepen and broaden bilateral economic and financial relations," the two ministers said in a joint declaration after the dialogue.
