CHULA VISTA (CNS) - After initially rescheduling concerts -- including a Chula Vista appearance -- while he recovers from surgery, rocker Ozzy Osbourne announced Thursday he has been forced to postpone all of the remaining North American shows on his "No More Tours 2" tour until next year.Osbourne was originally set to perform at the Mattress Firm Amphitheatre on Tuesday, but the show was pushed back until Oct. 18 because he was being treated at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for infections on his right hand. (KGTV) - A brush fire erupted near homes in the Eastlake area of Chula Vista Tuesday, but no evacuations were ordered as crews doused the flames.The fire was reported shortly after 9 a.m. near the 400 block of Agua Vista Drive, according to Cal Fire officials.The blaze briefly burned vegetation several yards from some homes, but crews in the air and on the ground were able to stop the fire’s spread before it reached structures.After nearly two hours, crews contained the fire to 44 acres burned.10News learned the fire may have been accidentally caused by landscapers using equipment to clear out weeds. 635

(KGTV) — Police are searching for the person who shot several kids with a BB gun recently.Thursday just before 4 p.m., three children were walking home from school when they say they were shot with a BB gun by someone driving past them near Montevalle Park on Duncan Ranch Rd. The children didn't need medical attention, but they did have visible injuries, Chula Vista Police said.Two of the girls told 10News reporter Laura Acevedo that a white SUV pulled up next to them before they were shot."The windows went down, and they yelled cuss words at us, and then they just pulled out the BB gun and they shot us," Bella Budd told 10News."If they had hit us in the eye or anywhere else more dangerous, we could've been rushed to the ER or seriously hurt," Brianna Field added.Since that report, CVPD said two other people have also reported being shot with BB gun by an unknown suspect.A description of a vehicle or suspect wasn't immediately available.CVPD is investigating and says anyone with information is asked to call 619-691-5151. 1064
