View this post on Instagram I would like to apologize to my friends, teammates, the City of New Orleans, the black community, NFL community and anyone I hurt with my comments yesterday. In speaking with some of you, it breaks my heart to know the pain I have caused. In an attempt to talk about respect, unity, and solidarity centered around the American flag and the national anthem, I made comments that were insensitive and completely missed the mark on the issues we are facing right now as a country. They lacked awareness and any type of compassion or empathy. Instead, those words have become divisive and hurtful and have misled people into believing that somehow I am an enemy. This could not be further from the truth, and is not an accurate reflection of my heart or my character. This is where I stand: I stand with the black community in the fight against systemic racial injustice and police brutality and support the creation of real policy change that will make a difference. I condemn the years of oppression that have taken place throughout our black communities and still exists today. I acknowledge that we as Americans, including myself, have not done enough to fight for that equality or to truly understand the struggles and plight of the black community. I recognize that I am part of the solution and can be a leader for the black community in this movement. I will never know what it’s like to be a black man or raise black children in America but I will work every day to put myself in those shoes and fight for what is right. I have ALWAYS been an ally, never an enemy. I am sick about the way my comments were perceived yesterday, but I take full responsibility and accountability. I recognize that I should do less talking and more listening...and when the black community is talking about their pain, we all need to listen. For that, I am very sorry and I ask your forgiveness. Two sets of human remains found in the backyard of Chad Daybell's property have been confirmed to be those of JJ Vallow and Tylee Ryan.According to a news release Saturday from the Rexburg Police Department in Idaho, the medical examiner's office confirmed their identities after performing an autopsy.Earlier this week, family members said in a statement that they were informed the remains were JJ and Tylee, who were reported missing last year. J & Tylee are gone, Joshua Vallow's grandparents confirm. #JJVallow #TyleeRyan pic.twitter.com/XGPNMbK7U0— Marc Sternfield (@msternfield) June 10, 2020 Police said Wednesday that two bodies were found Tuesday on Daybell's Idaho property during the execution of a search warrant. An official cause of death hasn't been released. The children's grandparents released a statement saying the family was "filled with unfathomable sadness" and could confirm that the bodies were JJ and Tylee. Daybell was taken into custody Tuesday and appeared in court Wednesday when a judge set a million bail. He is currently jailed on charges of “destruction, alteration or concealment of evidence."A prosecutor said during Wednesday's initial court appearance that they were aware the remains were that of children, but at that time officials had not yet fully identified them. Lori Daybell, Chad's current wife, has remained in jail on a million bail as authorities continued the search for JJ and Tylee. She has been in jail since February.Authorities in Arizona had also been investigating two deaths tied to the case -- Lori Daybell's fourth husband, Charles Vallow, as well as her brother, Alex Cox. Ali Schroer was on board when her doctor told her she could save hundreds of dollars a month on her allergy medication by ordering it online. “I was a new professional and just trying to save some money, because it was so expensive,” Schroer says. She ordered the prescription on a website that claimed to be an online Canadian pharmacy. “It looked exactly like what I had been taking for years and years, and so, I really didn't think anything of it,” she says. But in a few weeks, she started to feel strange. “I had stomach pains and headaches and kind of achiness,” she recalls. “I would go almost into shock, like I would really get clammy and hot and get like these fever spikes.”When she told a family member about the medication she got online, they did some research and found the site had a reputation for selling counterfeit drugs. Schroer says she threw the medication away, and in within weeks, she felt completely better. Her story is a cautionary tale of the dangers of purchasing medications online. The FDA recently issued a warning letter about the Canadian drug distributor CanaRx, saying it supplied "unapproved" and "misbranded" drugs to consumers in the United States. “If you order medicines online and think they're getting them from Canada, they're probably not coming from Canada,” says Dr. Carmen Catizone, executive director of the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy. “If you walk into a pharmacy in Canada, then those are medications that are safe enough that are approved by Canada.” An attorney for the company says CanaRx only facilitates the sale of drugs by American pharmaceutical companies licensed by the FDA in original packaging. However, Dr. Catizone says because the U.S. can't regulate drugs from other countries, it's hard to know exactly where drugs you buy online come from. “If something sounds too good to be true, it's probably too good to be true for something that's licensed for a site, where you can get information from a state agency or federal government about,” Dr. Catizone explains. As for Schroer, she has decided to stop online shopping for her prescriptions.“You just don't know enough about where it comes from,” Schroer says. 2210

A Union Pacific train hauling lumber and other chemicals derailed and caught fire early Wednesday morning while crossing a bridge over Tempe Town Lake, which caused a portion of the bridge to collapse.More than 90 firefighters from the Tempe Fire Department and other nearby agencies responded to the southern portion of Tempe Town Lake where they found several train cars on fire. Flames could be seen running the length of the bridge, sending dark clouds of smoke billowing into the air near Tempe Beach Park.Several firetrucks were seen spraying water on the flames for several hours Wednesday morning, while a fireboat was helping to spray water onto the flames and remnants of the fire from the lake.Tim McMahan, a spokesperson for Union Pacific Railroad, said in an email that eight to 10 train cars were reported to be on fire. He said none of the train's crew were injured, but said one person was treated for smoke inhalation. When the south side of the bridge collapsed, three tank cars fell below it. Two of those cars were hauling cyclohexane and the other was hauling a rubber material, McMahan said in an email. Cyclohexane is a class ii combustible liquid that smells like acetone or peppermint, according to the CDC's website.McMahan said none of the three tanks were involved in the fire and were not believed to be leaking any material. As a result of the investigation, several roadways near Tempe Town Lake, including portions of the Loop 202 Freeway, have remained closed throughout much of the day. Tempe Beach Park is also closed. All classes and boating activities were quickly canceled, the City of Tempe said in a news release. Valley Metro has also terminated its eastbound service at 38th Street and Washington and westbound at Smith-Martin and Apache. It used buses to re-route passengers between those two stops, operators said in a tweet. The light rail does not use the bridge that collapsed. The track where the bridge collapsed is mostly used for cargo trains, McMahan said.
