COLTON, Calif. (KGTV) - At least five people died Friday afternoon in a fiery crash on Interstate 10 in the San Bernardino County community of Rialto, KABC reported.The California Highway Patrol indicated at least three vehicles and two trucks were involved in the crash that left wreckage on both sides of the freeway at Riverside Ave. about 1 p.m.A big rig heading west veered toward the median, crashed through the center divider and burst into flames, KTLA reported. The truck kept moving across eastbound lanes, striking several vehicles.Five people were killed. The truck driver received only minor injuries and another driver was able to walk away from the crash.After a nearly 16-hour shutdown of the highway, all lanes were reopened Saturday morning, KABC said. The cause of the crash is under investigation.Check traffic HERE.  865

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Kanye West, who is currently making an independent bid for the presidency, won't appear on the ballot in Ohio due to some irregularities involving his petition to run for office.According to Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose, West and his running mate, Michelle Tidball, "failed to meet the requirements necessary to appear on the presidential ballot in Ohio for the Nov. 3, 2020 General Election."Specifically, information and the signature on West's nominating petition and statement of candidacy didn't match up to the documents used to circulate part-petitions, LaRose said.Click here to view West's nominating petition and declaration of candidacy forms.In order to appear on the ballot, West would have had to file a "valid and sufficient joint nominating petition and statement of candidacy that complies with the law and at least 5,000 valid signatures from Ohio voters and a slate of 18 presidential electors," according to LaRose."A signature is the most basic form of authentication and an important, time-honored, security measure to ensure that a candidate aspires to be on the ballot and that a voter is being asked to sign a legitimate petition," LaRose said. "There is no doubt that the West nominating petition and declaration of candidacy failed to meet the necessary threshold for certification."West likely won't appear on the ballots in enough states to even qualify for the 270 electoral votes needed to win the presidency. CLAIREMONT MESA EAST (CNS) - A 63-year-old man driving a Cadillac slammed into a 25-year-old motorcyclist in the Clairemont Mesa East neighborhood, breaking the younger man's femur and causing other serious injuries -- which not considered life-threatening, police said today.The 2008 Cadillac CTS was exiting a shopping center driveway when it struck the victim at 5:40 p.m. Saturday, according to Officer Robert Heims of the San Diego Police Department.But the Cadillac kept going -- traveling south until it smashed into an apartment gate.The 2018 Honda sport bike ended up in the bushes at a different apartment complex, Heims said.The San Diego Police Traffic Division is investigating, although they said a sobriety check cleared the Cadillac driver of possible DUI charges.Anyone with information about the crash is asked to called the SDPD at 619-531-2000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-888-580-8477. 908

CODY, Wyo. – During an interview with Forbes, Kanye West elaborated on his decision to run for president of the United States and made several more head scratching comments.Over the course of four “rambling” hours of interviews, the magazine says the rapper confirmed that he was serious when he tweeted Saturday that he would pursue the White House.West disclosed that he would be running under a new political party, the “Birthday Party.” He reportedly said, “because when we win, it’s everybody’s birthday.” He said his campaign slogan is “YES!” and he’s already chosen his running mate – an obscure Wyoming preacher named Michelle Tidball.In the past, West has voiced his support of President Donald Trump, who has been seeking reelection since he took office in 2017. However, West told Forbes that he no longer supports Trump and that he was “taking the red hat off” with the interview.With West apparently entering the presidential race, many Democrats are concerned he could spoil former Vice President Joe Biden’s prospects of winning. West is OK with that and isn’t shy about it, calling Biden “not special,” like him, former President Barack Obama and Trump.West went on to say that it’s “a form of racism and white supremacy and white control to say that all Black people need to be Democrat and to assume that me running is me splitting the vote.”Another revelation – West told the magazine that he was sick with COVID-19 in February. He described having chills, shaking in bed and looking up videos to see what he was supposed to do to get over it.Also regarding COVID-19, West said he’s “extremely cautious” about the potential coronavirus vaccine and he went as far as calling it “the mark of the beast.”“They want to put chips inside of us, they want to do all kinds of things, to make it where we can’t cross the gates of heaven,” West told Forbes. “I'm sorry when I say they, the humans that have the Devil inside them.
