CORONADO, Calif. (KGTV) — An iconic Coronado bookstore says it is being forced out after 27 years at its home on Orange Avenue. Bay Books employees say landlord Kleege Enterprises has found a new tenant for the site and that it has to be out by March."I'm obsessed with this bookstore," said manager Barbara Chambers. "I don't know what I'm going to do."Building owner Bruce Kleege says this is not the case. He said he believes negotiations with the bookstore are ongoing and that he would like to keep the bookstore, albeit smaller. Last year, Kleege's company bought almost the entire block of buildings on Orange Avenue, the bookstore included, for million. Already, two high-end restaurants and a poke restaurant are on the way, replacing previous tenants. Kleege says the bookstore is paying a fraction of market rent, a gap that needs to narrow, but not close.Meanwhile, bookstore owner Angelica Muller says some of the spaces offered are off the main street, half the space, and double the rent to about ,000 a month. CINCINNATI, Ohio — Customs officials in Cincinnati discovered thousands of live crabs that they said someone was trying to smuggle into the country.Agriculture specialists with U.S. Customs and Border Protection discovered the invasive Chinese mitten crabs on Oct. 16 while conducting routine inspections, the agency said in a news release.The crabs are considered a seasonal delicacy in Asia, according to Customs officials. But they have had a "disastrous impact" on habitats where they've been introduced.The crabs were hidden in packages labeled as various types of clothing. They were being sent to various residences in New York. The shipments were refused entry into the U.S. Across the country, Customs agriculture specialists intercepted more than 352 pests and 4,638 quarantine materials on any given day in the fiscal year 2017, according to the agency. 877

It now suggests wherever possible and feasible employers should require masks at work.This guidance is something Lawless says everyone was waiting on. She says for states or cities that already had a mask mandate it was easier to enforce at work already, but for states that don't have this mandate, it was harder until now.“At least you can now turn to CDC guidance and OSHA guidance as an employer and say look even if you disagree with us for a political reason or personal expression reason, we're following the guidance from agencies that are meant to look out for your health and safety,” said Lawless.Still, there are concerns OSHA isn't going far enough in other areas.
