The Chinese president made a keynote speech at the summit and expounded China's ideas, thoughts and ways to carry forward the Bandung Spirit and promote cooperation between Asia and Africa.
Yang Shu, head of the Institute for Central Asia Studies at Lanzhou University, said such coordination helped secure common ground between the Belt and Road Initiative and Russia-proposed development plans.
After the talks, the two leaders witnessed the signing of a series of bilateral cooperation deals in areas including trade, production capacity, infrastructure construction, culture, education, science and technology, agriculture and finance. The two governments also issued a joint declaration after the talks.

As China is comprehensively deepening its reforms, Brazil and other major trade partners of the world's second-largest economy will get more investment and job opportunities as well as easier access to the Chinese market thanks to increased trade, tourism and cultural exchanges, analysts say.
