Disney wants you to be able to binge-watch Disney+ with your friends, so they came up with a new feature called GroupWatch. The new feature allows up to seven people to watch a movie or show together in what the company calls a "synced playback experience.""GroupWatch is a feature that lets you watch any title on Disney+ with your personal friends and family virtually through the app," Disney said on the Disney+ website. "GroupWatch will sync your streams so that you can easily watch together, even when you're apart."How it works is that you and your friends decide what to watch, then one person sends out an invite, and the show will play simultaneously for everyone, whether it's on your TV, phone, or computer. You can even share reactions in real-time, Disney said. 782
EL CAJON, Calif. (KGTV) -- An act of kindness on the job went a long way for an El Cajon family. On Christmas eve, two El Cajon police officers didn’t hesitate to buy dinner for a family living in their car. While always ready to respond to calls, officers never know exactly what they'll find. On this Christmas Eve call, they found a woman named Juanita and her two children, living in their car. Detective Travis Howard is President of the El Cajon Police Officers Association. He says the officers bought the family dinner at Jack in the Box and then closed the call. But after their shift, they wanted to do more, dipping in their own pockets to get the family a hotel room for two nights so they wouldn't be homeless on Christmas. The two police officers who first helped the family didn’t do it for the praise and asked to remain anonymous. 859

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — Saudi Arabia says this year's hajj will not be canceled, but that due to the coronavirus only "very limited numbers" of people will be allowed to perform the major Muslim pilgrimage. The kingdom said Tuesday that only people of various nationalities already residing in the country would be allowed to perform the hajj. The government did not specify how many people would be permitted to take part. The annual pilgrimage, which is set to begin this year at the end of July, traditionally draws around 2 million Muslims from around the world for five intense days of worship and rituals in Mecca. 639
During an interview with ABC News on Thursday, Dr. Anthony Fauci said that wearing goggles can offer an additional layer of protection against the coronavirus.Fauci’s suggestion was not an official recommendation, but the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, explained why eyes can also be responsible for coronavirus infections."You have mucosa in the nose, mucosa in the mouth, but you also have mucosa in the eye," Fauci said. "Theoretically, you should protect all the mucosal surfaces. So if you have goggles or an eye shield you should use it."Fauci said his suggestion might become an official recommendation for the public at some point, much how like masks became an official recommendation in April. The CDC, however, has included eye protection in some of its sets of guidance for healthcare workers, depending on the circumstance.Last month, the Lancet published a study funded by the World Health Organization that indicated that wearing eye protection decreases the risk of catching the virus. The study suggests that wearing eye protection resulted in a 78% reduction in infection; infection via the ocular route might occur by aerosol transmission or self-inoculation, the study said. This point was one the researchers had less confidence in, and further data is needed to draw a conclusion. 1350
