PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Md. -- A man was stabbed to death Monday at a Maryland Popeyes after what appears to have been an argument over the restaurant's re-released chicken sandwich, police said.The victim, a 28-year-old man, was stabbed outside the restaurant around 7p.m., Prince George's County Police spokeswoman Jennifer Donelan said at a news conference Monday. He had been in line for a chicken sandwich when he and another man got into an argument, which spilled onto the street, Donelan said. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is proposing a condensed, two-day calendar for opening arguments in President Donald Trump's impeachment trial, ground rules that are raising objections from Democrats on the eve of the landmark proceedings. The Republican leader outlined the process in a four-page resolution that will be voted on as one of the first orders of business when senators convene Tuesday. It also pushes off any votes on witnesses until later in the process, rather than up front, as Democrats had demanded. TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — A 6-year-old Florida boy called 911 in search of a friend and had his wish granted from a kind officer.The Tallahassee Police Department posted on their Facebook page Tuesday that the upset child called 911 saying he was lonely and wanted a friend.Officer Joe White responded to the call to provide some much-needed company and companionship for the little boy.
