BEIJING, March 4 (Xinhua) -- China's scientific and technological progress contributed to 55.1 percent of the country's economic growth in 2015, demonstrating the crucial role of sci-tech, the Ministry of Science and Technology said Friday.

"The words of the general secretary are assuring and energizing," said Chen Liezhi, chair of the board of AUX Group and a national legislator.

The Egyptian president called for further mutual political support and coordination between Egypt and China on international and regional issues, as well as expansion of the bilateral win-win economic cooperation.

A pilot program will be conducted within one year and the whole reform will be completed before 2018 when the incumbent cabinet's tenure comes to an end, Chen said at a press conference on the sidelines of the national legislature annual session.

The fundament of the OBOR is not just the exchange of goods, economy, money, but the exchange of cultures, languages, values that motivate mutual understanding. The initiative is extremely important and its scale is yet to be seen in next several decades, said Zarko Obradovic, first Serbian coordinator of the summit of China and 16 countries in the region.
