POWAY (CNS) - A pedestrian struck and killed by a vehicle in the 15500 block of state Route 67 in an unincorporated area near Poway on Sunday was identified by the Medical Examiner as 35-year-old Ryan Moon Golden.The incident occurred about 11 p.m. near Cloudy Moon Drive.Witnesses said Golden was walking in the middle lanes of northbound state Route 67 when he was struck by a Buick sedan.RELATED: Person hit by vehicle, killed on SR-67 in Poway areaThe impact launched Golden onto the southbound lanes of the freeway, where he was struck by at least four other vehicles and dragged around 50 yards.The San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office said Golden died of blunt-force injuries at the scene of the accident. 726

President Donald Trump "believes he has the power to" fire special counsel Robert Mueller, White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said Tuesday."He certainly believes he has the power to do so," Sanders said when asked whether Trump believes he has that power.She did not suggest Trump would be moving to fire Mueller.Under the special counsel regulations, Mueller may be "disciplined or removed from office only by the personal action of the attorney general." (KGTV) — A Poway woman is taking legal action against the city after she says she fell ill from drinking contaminated water.The city on Nov. 30 issued a precautionary boil advisory after residents reported brownish water coming from their faucets. Poway officials reported that a storm drain backed up into a clear well, and said they issued the boil advisory in an abundance of caution. The advisory lasted about a week and was lifted Dec. 6. "Personally I felt ill after drinking the water, and my son, I had to take him to urgent care" Serino said. "So just in my own family, because we are Poway residents, I have two small children, it's affecting us as well and other people that we work with."
