SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — SeaWorld San Diego welcomed two dolphin calves into the world within 12 hours of each other this week.The two bottlenose dolphin calves, born Wednesday at 3:50 p.m. and Thursday at 1:14 a.m., and their mothers are doing well, swimming together and bonding, the theme park said in a release.The dolphins have yet to be named.One of the calves was born to Malibu, a 21-year-old dolphin who gave birth at the park in 2009 to a dolphin named Kali, who remains at the park. Frost has just added something else to her plate."During these times, people should think of ways to push themselves outside their comfort zone to help," said Frost.Keenly aware of how families are juggling the challenges served up with distance learning, Frost decided to offer free zoom tutoring sessions in math and English for local elementary and middle school students."I know how difficult school can be. I struggled in elementary school ... With the added stresses of distance learning, I'm just want to do my part to help these families and to help the kids excel," said Frost.Frost posted her services on the Nextdoor app, even put out an application. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego Police said a man who was trying to sell basketball tickets Friday robbed a victim near San Diego State University as the NCAA basketball tournament was underway.The robbery happened about 11 a.m. in the east alley of 5100 College Ave., police said. The location is behind the ARCO gas station at the corner of Montezuma Rd.Officers said the suspect stole the victim’s money and may have been carrying a small knife.
