(KGTV) - The Oceanside Police Department asked for the public’s help Friday to find a missing man.Richard Teller, 80, was last seen at his home Thursday night at 10 pm.Police said Teller suffers from health conditions that require medication, which he does not have with him.Teller is believed to be driving a black 2006 Cadillac CTS with a California license plate of 5YDG829.Police said Teller is white, 5’9”, 190 pounds, with short gray hair and hazel eyes.Anyone who sees him is asked to call Oceanside Police at 760-435-4900. 556

One day after President Donald Trump said he would leave the White House on January 20 barring a massive revolt from Electoral College voters, Trump walked back his statement on Friday.In a tweet, Trump says that President-elect Joe Biden will only be allowed in the White House if he can prove that he had 80 million votes. Lawmakers put in measures such as secret ballots in the late 1800s amid an era of voter intimidation. Non-secret ballots are generally a violation of international law.“Biden can only enter the White House as President if he can prove that his ridiculous ‘80,000,000 votes’ were not fraudulently or illegally obtained,” Trump tweeted. “When you see what happened in Detroit, Atlanta, Philadelphia & Milwaukee, massive voter fraud, he’s got a big unsolvable problem!”Biden is slated to send 306 electors on his behalf to state capitols on December 4, 36 more than the 270 needed to become president on January 20. OCEANSIDE, Calif. (KGTV) - A sales tax increase approved by voters in November took effect Monday in the City of Oceanside. The city put Measure X on the ballot last fall to raise the tax rate from 7.75 to 8.25 percent. Voters passed the measure, 55 percent to 44 percent. The estimated revenues are expected to bring in million annually, according to city officials.New tax revenues, minus a state administrative fee, will go to the city. The half-cent sales tax was designed to provide money for first responders, pothole maintenance, graffiti clean-up, and public infrastructure projects. The tentative spending plan for the revenues includes an additional Homeless Outreach team, Crime Suppression team, road repairs, and a new police station at the beach."We are grateful to the Citizens of Oceanside for approving Measure X and are working to ensure that they receive tangible enhanced public safety services and infrastructure improvements," said Assistant City Manager Deanna Lorson in a statement to 10News.Measure X is set to expire in seven years.
