SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — San Diego County has served Pacers Showgirls International with a cease and desist order in violation of health orders days after San Diego Padres outfielder Tommy Pham was stabbed outside the strip club.The county's letter says the Midway District strip club was allowing "live entertainment," like exotic dancing, "in violation of the Order of the State Health Officer and County Order of the Health Officer and Emergency Regulations."Under the county's current tier for California's pandemic guidance, San Diego County restaurants are allowed to operate outdoor in-person dining and indoor in-person dining at 25% capacity, but live entertainment is not allowed.The county's letter says if the strip club doesn't suspend its entertainment, it can receive a misdemeanor citation and ,000 fine for each violation. The facility could be ordered to close as well.The order says the violations were reported after Pham was stabbed in the parking lot outside the strip club on Sunday night.San Diego Police said Pham was involved in an altercation. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — San Diego Police Officers are patrolling the College Area, cracking down on noise and health order violations as San Diego teeters on the edge of the red tier for coronavirus restrictions.Friday eight cease and desist orders were issued to College Area houses. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego Police released a composite sketch Tuesday in the search for a man suspected of trying to kidnap a 3-year-old girl in the Morena area. The incident happened Sunday about 4:30 p.m. as the girl’s mother was taking her daughter for a walk in her wagon on Savannah Street at Buenos Avenue, police said. The area is residential and two blocks away from busy Morena Boulevard. A man parked his sedan but left the engine running, then approached the mother and child from behind, according to investigators. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego Police confirmed Monday the arrest of a Yuma, Arizona police officer on suspicion of rape.Yuma Police officer Jared Elkins, 33, was taken into custody Friday morning on Marlborough Dr. near Adams Ave. in Kensington.San Diego Police said Elkins was off duty at this time of his arrest. He is a 7-year veteran of the force, the Associated Press reported. Yuma Police are working to place Elkins on administrative leave.Elkins will be charged with rape, oral copulation, threat to do bodily harm, sex asault with a foreign object, and misdemeanor sexual assault, police said.Elkins was released on 0,000 bail Saturday and ordered to appear in court on Sept. 25. 709
