A cougar, burned in a dangerous Southern California wildfire, is recovering from her injuries. She was found by a homeowner after walking on burned paws onto his property.The Cougar Conservancy and California wildlife officials treated the cougar at a state facility in Sacramento.The cougar is eating well and her paws are healing. The conservancy group believes she will be able to return to the wild.She was burned by the Bobcat fire, which started on September 6 and has destroyed 87 residences. It has burned more than 115,000 acres and is about 90 percent contained, and still threatening 6,000 structures. The cause of the fire is under investigation. 666
A man and woman accused of performing a sex act on a Delta flight from Los Angeles to Detroit tried to hide the act with a blanket, according to the police report from the Wayne Metro Airport Police Department.WXYZ obtained the police report from a Freedom of Information RequestThe 48-year-old woman from California and the 28-year-old man were sitting next to each other in row 26 on the Delta flight on Oct. 29. The FBI was called in after the incident and each received a ticket.According to one witness, the man and woman were kissing and foreplaying before the woman allegedly performed oral sex on the man."I felt bad for the guy beside but I guess he was sleeping," the witness said in the police report.According to the report, the man and woman were in seats 26D and 26E respectively, and the woman switched her seats to sit next to the man.The man in the case told police that she had fallen asleep in his lap, but there was no sexual intercourse. He said he "grabbed her breasts on the outside of her clothes."Police said the woman was intoxicated with bloodshot, red eyes and the smell of alcohol coming off of her. She also told police she fell asleep in his lap and nothing more.According to the report, a passenger informed the flight attendant about the man and woman.Another witness said she went to the row and saw the woman performing oral sex on the man."I asked the lady to sit straight up. She was bobbing her head up and down while he was holding her down," they said. "They had a blanket partially covering the act."Both passengers were ticketed and allowed to go on their way. A Brownsville, Texas man has been sentenced to 50 years in prison after stealing and reselling .2 million in fajitas from a juvenile detention center over the span of nine years.Gilberto Escamilla had previously pleaded guilty to felony theft charges.Escamilla was caught last summer after he took a day off work from the Darrel B. Hester Juvenile Detention Center for a doctor's appointment. A driver called the kitchen at the juvenile center saying they had 800 pounds of fajitas to drop off.The center did not serve fajitas, but the driver said he had been delivering the meat to the center for nine years.After the driver spilled the beans, investigators found packages of fajitas in Escamilla's fridge where he reportedly sold the meat to separate buyers.Escamilla was fired from his job in August.The-CNN-Wire 865
