She was helped down, and arrangements were made for her and her baby to be checked out by medical professionals.“They were safe, but cold, and appeared to have been in the area for a significant amount of time,” said Rees-Jones.Max is a general-purpose dog, who will primarily be used for tracking and locating people in buildings and open air, tracing discarded property and tracking and detaining suspects, according to police.“I was really pleased that during our first operational deployment as a dog team, myself and Max were able to safely locate the missing mother and baby,” said Lloyd. “Max remained focused throughout the long search and he proved invaluable when he reacted to the call for help which resulted in us locating them.” 1825

(KGTV) - Poway synagogue shooting suspect John Earnest should not have been able to buy the gun used in the April attack, according to state law.California Fish and Wildlife officials confirmed to 10News that the hunting license that Earnest, 19, used to get around the state's age limit of 21 was invalid at the time of purchase.Earnest picked up the AR-15 style weapon used in the attack from San Diego Guns on April 26, a day before he attacked worshipers at the Chabad of Poway, killing congregant Lori Kaye and injuring three others.
