As schools begin to reopen, some children will go back and others won't. People are taking different strides and therapists claim it can be an awkward time for families."It's very awkward being around people," mother Valentina Cattaneo said. "It's like, do you put your mask on? Do you take it off? Do they feel weird that you're wearing it? Do you feel weird they are not wearing it?"Cattaneo said being social isn't easy anymore."People are so used to social interaction and when this struck us, it's like people can't be themselves anymore," she said.Playdates in a pandemic can bring up anxiety, even in the form of an invitation. "There is a logical reason you may be hanging out with these people and not those."She suggested making plans for the future."Be apologetic but also state the reasons, the rationale, for why you don't feel safe yet, and if the person is not able to accept that feedback, then you did the best you could," Tomko said.Dr. Chad Rudnick, a pediatrician with Boca VIPediatrics, said an individual's own health has to come first."Right now, in the times of COVID, it's always OK to say, 'No,'" he said. "You never have to feel bad about declining a play date or an invite to go to someone's house or do anything with another family. Authorities have now found two packages addressed to former Vice President Joe Biden that are similar in appearance and contain potential explosive devices that resemble the others sent earlier this week to prominent critics of President Donald Trump and CNN, a law enforcement official said Thursday.The two packages, discovered at Delaware postal facilities, were removed late Thursday morning, law enforcement officials said.Earlier Thursday, a suspicious package addressed to actor-director Robert De Niro was reported at the Manhattan building where his production company is based, and its marking and contents appear similar to the other pipe bomb packages, two law enforcement sources said.The FBI said Thursday morning that the three packages are "similar in appearance to the others."A manhunt is underway for the perpetrator behind the packages. BAKERSFIELD, California — Fire crews around California are gradually getting the upper hand on wildfires that are ravaging the state.On Monday morning, CalFire updated the progress of multiple fires from around California.The Camp Fire in Butte County is now covering 151,000 and is 66 percent contained. That fire has already claimed the lives of 77 people. About 1,000 people are still unaccounted for. CalFire is reporting that 11,713 homes have been destroyed. As the world waits for deliveries of Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine, the pharmaceutical company is having to adjust their target after hitting supply chain obstacles, according to the Wall Street Journal.“Scaling up the raw material supply chain took longer than expected,” a company spokeswoman told the WSJ.Pfizer and partner BioNTech SE had hoped to ship out 100 million doses of their vaccine by the end of the year, that has now reportedly been cut to estimates of about 50 million.Two doses are needed for each person to be vaccinated.Pfizer did not elaborate on where the raw material shortfalls happened. They did say some raw materials in early production earlier this year did not meet their standards and they had to fix the issue.After the WSJ’s report, Pfizer’s stock price dropped and the S&P 500 fell slightly.The United Kingdom has granted emergency use of the Pfizer vaccine, and is expected to start administering doses soon. The FDA in the U.S. is considering a similar authorization, which could come later in December.As part of Operation Warp Speed, the U.S. Government has purchased 100 million doses of Pfizer’s vaccine, with an option to buy more.Roughly 20 million of those doses were expected by the end of the year once the FDA granted emergency use authorization.
