GOLDEN, Colo. — A man who escaped from a Colorado Department of Corrections prison in Golden Tuesday morning has been captured. According to police, Sean Garcia, 27, was located and arrested in Denver. The escapee was taken into custody after authorities set a perimeter in the area. Garcia had escaped from the state prison facility by climbing a perimeter fence.Garcia is serving time for weapons and theft charges out of Rio Blanco County. His Parole eligibility date was in January, and his mandatory release date was Sep. 2 of this year, according to the DOC. Details as to how Garcia managed to escape the secure facility by climbing a fence have not been released. Gunshots rang out at a birthday party on Detroit's east side injuring multiple people.Police said at least three people were shot at during the party, and a fourth victim was hit down the street.Investigators say it happened around 11:20 p.m. Sunday at a home.Police say the victims are a 27-year-old woman shot in the face, a 32-year-old woman shot in the leg and a 40-year-old man shot also shot in the leg.  All three told police they were at a birthday party when two men started shooting.The fourth victim, a 31-year-old man down the street, says he was walking when two men walked up to him and shot him in the backside and ran away.That man says he hopped on one leg to his home where he called police.Police do not have a description of the suspects, they only know they are looking for two armed men.All of the victims are listed in temporary serious condition at Detroit Receiving Hospital.  924

Gabriel Sterling, the Georgia voting system implementation manager who works under the state’s Republican Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, said he had enough of the threats directed toward officials.On Tuesday, Sterling said that officials working to count the ballots in Georgia have been receiving threats. The threats come as President Donald Trump continues making baseless allegations about the legitimacy of last month’s presidential election, which he lost to President-elect Joe Biden.Georgia is in the process of completing a second recount of ballots there. After doing an initial canvass, the state conducted a hand recount of ballots. Sterling said that the hand recount should have alleviated any concern that machines altered the results of the election.Trump and his legal team has continued to blame rigged voting machines on changing the result of the election. So far, Trump’s legal team has not been able to substantiate any fraud allegations in court, prompting one federal judge appointed by Trump to write in an opinion, “Charges of unfairness are serious. But calling an election unfair does not make it so. Charges require specific allegations and then proof. We have neither here,” 3rd Circuit Judge Stephanos Bibas wrote. Bibas was appointed by Trump to the federal bench in 2017.On Tuesday, Sterling took his turn to decry the conspiracy theories."I don't have all the best words to do this because I'm angry,” Sterling said. “The straw that broke the camel's back today is again this 20-year-old contractor for a voting system company, just trying to do his job, In fact, I talked to Dominion today and I said, 'He's one of the better ones they got.' His family is getting harassed now. There's a noose out there with his name on it. It's not right. I can't begin to explain the level of anger I have right now over this. And every American, every Georgian, Republican and Democrat alike should have that same level of anger.”Sterling said that Trump has the right to contest the election in court, but added, “You need to step up and say this, is stop inspiring people to commit potential acts of violence. Hillsborough County, Florida deputies arrested a Chase Bank call center employee for stealing account information, adding her boyfriend to the accounts and making withdrawals.31-year-old Dakima Williams and her boyfriend, 22-year-old Darius Lopez, are being charged with the crimes.“I went to pick up a prescription and when I went to pay for it with my HSA card it said I had a balance of like ,” Kari Krause, whose joint HSA account with her husband was compromised, said.Krause, who lives in Texas, says investigators told her the suspect had a duplicate debit card created to make the transactions. Lopez made two trips to a Chase Bank in Tampa to pull money from the account, withdrawing ,000 and the ,000.Chase reimbursed the couple and began investigating the incident. In total, deputies say nine accounts were compromised.“As soon as we discovered this, we notified authorities and worked with them on the investigation. The employee was terminated and we reimbursed affected customers. We also put additional safeguards in place to prevent this type of behavior by restricting access to certain account information and adding extra layers of verification,” Chase Spokesperson Michael Fusco said in an email.Chase also sold their Health Savings Account Business prior to the incident.
