SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- One man was shot after a fight broke out near a house party in San Diego’s Jamacha-Lomita neighborhood late Saturday night. According to police, the shooting happened on the 1100 block of Koe Street at 11 p.m. Witnesses told police a fight broke out in the street near the house party before shots were fired. Police say the suspect left the scene while the victim was taken to Paradise Valley Hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The suspect was taken into custody after he was found at a nearby 7-Eleven with a gun in his car. At this time, the names of the suspect and victim haven’t been released. 645

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Police are searching for the man they say shot at two people in a Clairemont strip mall before fleeing in an SUV Wednesday morning.Police say a heavy-set Hispanic man shot at two men in the 5600 block of Balboa Ave. at about 9:30 a.m. The two men were standing near or were inside a red Ford Mustang, San Diego Police added.One of the victim fled the area on foot, while the other victim, a 21-year-old man, drove himself to a nearby urgent car facility. He was treated for a gunshot wound to the upper leg.The suspect was a passenger in a white GMC SUV that was being driven by a woman, SDPD said. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - NFL quarterback Drew Brees and his wife say a San Diego jeweler with lying and falsely represented the value of the jewelry sold to them.Vahid Moradi, founder of CJ Charles Jewelers in La Jolla, is accused of making friends with the Brees and then using his "relationship and position to induce" Brees to rely "on his false representations as to the investment quality and market value" of numerous diamonds, a lawsuit filed in San Diego said.In the lawsuit, Brees says he has spent multimillions of dollars in business with Moradi, purchasing jewelry as gifts and as investments.READ the lawsuit here."In total, [the Brees] invested approximately million in investment quality diamonds recommended by Moradi," the suit states. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Police are searching for a suspect they say tried to kidnap a 13-year-old girl on her way home from school.According to police, the victim was walking home on the 700 block of Picador Boulevard near Montgomery Middle School in Otay Mesa West when she noticed she was being followed by a black van.The van pulled up next to the girl and opened the door when the man inside asked the 13-year-old if she wanted a ride home.The suspect then grabbed the victim by the wrist and tried to pull her into the van before she was able to escape and run home.A witness driving by saw the 13-year-old talking with the suspect and made a U-turn before seeing the victim run away.The suspect is described as a white male between 50-60-years-old with glasses, a full beard and a raspy voice. Police say the van had a “J” or a “K” in the plate. 870

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Police have released photos of the man accused of badly beating a Pacific Beach bouncer Sunday night. According to police, four men tried to enter through the side door of a restaurant on the 700 block of Grand Avenue around 9:20 p.m. Sunday when a bouncer told the group they had to use the main entrance. As a confrontation escalated, police say one of the men picked up a metal crowd barrier pole, hitting the bouncer in his head. Others in the group then reportedly started fighting with other bouncers at the restaurant before all four men left, according to police. The bouncer who was hit in the head suffered a skull fracture and brain bleed. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Another bouncer suffered a broken nose and two other staff members suffered some bumps and bruises. The man suspected of swinging the pole was described as black, in his 30s, 6 feet tall, and 250 pounds with a muscular build.
