JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The U.S. Coast Guard, along with partner agencies, is searching for two firefighters who are missing after they were due to return from boating on Friday evening. Officials say Brian McCluney and Justin Walker were last seen leaving a Port Canaveral boat ramp in Florida on Friday morning in a 24-foot center console. According to the Coast Guard, the two men were heading toward 8A Reef, a popular fishing spot. It appears some companies are taking advantage of consumers during the COVID-19 crisis as the Federal Trade Commission said Tuesday that it received 7,800 coronavirus-related complaints. The number of complaints the FTC has received doubled last week from the previous week, the governmental agency announced. The FTC said that top categories of fraud complaints include travel and vacation related reports about cancellations and refunds, reports about problems with online shopping, mobile texting scams, and government and business imposter scams.
