(KGTV) — At a high school football game in Valley Center, emotions spilled off the field at halftime, as a head coach got into an altercation with the grandfather of player.Last week, under the Friday night lights at Valley Center High, the visiting squad from Imperial High made a big play in the second quarter."The other team ran past us for 50 yards. The student just didn't get the tackle, so they got the touchdown," said cheerleader Isela Zepeda.Zepeda says it was clear an assistant coach wasn't happy with the player."I heard that the assistant coach grabbed him, pushed him to the bench and started yelling at him," said Zepeda.Fast forward to halftime near the snack bar, as senior Jennifer Perez was coming out of the bathroom."Heard a lot of yelling. Saw a big crowd," said Zepeda. Witnesess say the grandfather of that player involved in the touchdown confronted the assistant coach. "He started choking him out," said Zepeda.Nearby was longtime head coach Rob Gilster."Heard he punched him to get him off. Then I heard he didn't punch him. Bunch of different stories," said senior Yesenia Zepeda, whose brother witnessed part of the fight.Deputies say bystanders broke up the fight. Sources tell 10News the grandfather suffered broken bones in his eye socket. Deputies took statements, but none of the men wanted to press charges and there wasn't enough evidence to make any arrests.The Valley Center Pauma Unified School District confirmed they've begun an investigation. 10News has learned both coaches were placed on administrative leave. 1588

United Airlines announced Wednesday plans to return 25,000 flights systemwide during the month of August in hopes that more people will resume traveling. Despite the massive number of flights being added to the schedule, United said that it will only run 40% of the number of flights it ran in 2019 in August.Domestically, United plans on adding 600 flights, meaning it will run 48% of its US flights in August. United projects that only 30% of US flights will fly in July compared to 2019."We're taking the same data-driven, realistic approach to growing our schedule as we did in drawing it down at the start of the pandemic," said Ankit Gupta, United's vice president of Domestic Network Planning. "Demand is coming back slowly and we're building in enough capacity to stay ahead of the number of people traveling. And we're adding in flights to places we know customers want to travel to, like outdoor recreation destinations where social distancing is easier but doing so in a way that's flexible and allows us to adjust should that demand change."On Tuesday, Delta announced the addition of 1,000 flights systemwide in July. Two more members of President Donald Trump’s campaign working on his rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma have tested positive for the coronavirus.The president’s campaign put out a statement Monday that said the two staffers, part of the advance team for Saturday’s rally, tested positive before they boarded their flight out of Oklahoma.The two were then quarantined and the campaign began contact tracing protocols. These positive tests follow the news that six other staffers, including two Secret Service agents, tested positive in the hours before Saturday’s rally.The rally was believed to be the largest indoor event in the nation since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders' son is running for Congress in New Hampshire.Levi Sanders, 48, said in a statement first reported by WMUR and since posted on his campaign website that he is entering the open-seat race to replace retiring Democratic Rep. Carol Shea-Porter."This is a unique opportunity to listen to the hard working men and women of New Hampshire about the issues that matter to them," he said.The New Hampshire 1st District is one of the nation's most competitive open-seat races in 2018's midterms.Unlike his father, who ran as an independent in Vermont, Sanders is running as a Democrat. He'll be the eighth Democratic candidate to enter the race.Sanders lives in Claremont, New Hampshire, which is outside the 1st District.
