China has consistently supported dialogue to improve ties between the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and the ROK, spokesperson Geng Shuang said.
The two sides will continue to practically promote the alignment of the Belt and Road construction with the Russia-led Eurasian Economic Union, accelerate negotiations between China and the Euraasian Economic Union on economic and trade cooperation, actively explore cooperation on the Northern Sea Route and jointly build a "Silk Road on Ice."
The Chinese president cited last year's summit in the eastern Chinese city of Hangzhou and the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation (BRF) in Beijing in May this year to expound the synergy between the Hangzhou summit and the Hamburg summit and between the commitment of the BRF and the goal of the G20.
