(KGTV) - The hit “Live in Front of a Studio Audience” returns to ABC for a second episode Wednesday night. Jimmy Kimmel and Norman Lear are bringing two pioneering comedies from the 1970s back to the small screen for live shows. “All in the Family” unites Woody Harrelson, Marisa Tomei and Ellie Kemper in the groundbreaking roles. “Good Times” stars Viola Davis, Tiffany Haddish, and Andre Braugher. Jay Pharoah tackles the part of their son JJ. “There might be a few Dyn-o-mites,” he said. “What’s the adrenaline gonna be like right before you go out there,” First Look’s Chris Connelly asked Viola Davis. “You say adrenaline, I say nerves. I say sheer fear - but you know what? It is exciting to me because I have a 31-year career. I come from the theater,” said Davis. You can watch the show on Wednesday, Dec. 18, on ABC10 at 8 p.m. 845

A 17-year-old has been charged with manslaughter in the shooting death of a teenage girl at an Alabama high school on Wednesday, the district attorney's office announced.Michael Jerome Barber is charged as an adult in the death of 17-year-old Courtlin Arrington, Jefferson County District Attorney Mike Anderton said in a news release Friday. Barber also faces a charge of "being a certain person forbidden to possess a pistol" for having the firearm on school grounds. It was not immediately clear on Friday afternoon if Barber was represented by an attorney.Arrington was an aspiring nurse and a senior attending Huffman High School in Birmingham when two gunshots rang out around dismissal time on Wednesday afternoon, killing her and injuring another 17-year-old male student, the district attorney's statement said.Investigators with the Birmingham Police Department spoke with "many of the students in the school, in the classroom where the shooting took place and collected evidence from the scene," the release said. "Based on the evidence as presented to us, warrants were issued for the person responsible for this horrific tragedy.""Our hearts go out to the family of Ms. Arrington, all of her friends, and those whose lives would have been changed through her nursing dreams had this event not occurred," the statement said. "This is a parent's worst nightmare."Birmingham police Chief Orlando Wilson said earlier this week that police considered the shooting accidental, though he did not elaborate. The school was placed on a brief lockdown when the shots were fired on Wednesday afternoon, and police responded to the scene. The school has metal detectors, and school resource officers were on site at the time of the shooting, according to Birmingham City Schools Superintendent Lisa Herring.Wednesday's school shooting in Birmingham was the 14th in the US in 2018.The-CNN-Wire? & ? 2018 Cable News Network, Inc., a Time Warner Company. “To our family of Fast fans everywhere, we feel all the love and the anticipation you have for the next chapter in our saga. That’s why it’s especially tough to let you know that we have to move the release date of the film. It’s become clear that it won’t be possible for all of our fans around the world to see the film this May. We are moving the global release date to April 2021, with North America opening on April 2. While we know there is disappointment in having to wait a little while longer, this move is made with the safety of everyone as our foremost consideration. Moving will allow our global family to experience our new chapter together. We’ll see you next spring.”The postponements of these films comes after the release date for the next Bond film, "No Time to Die," was pushed back to November: 824

(KGTV) -- With both finalists in the race to become San Diego's next mayor being Democrats, a surprise, late endorsement by the Republican who nearly cracked the top two in the primary could help tip the balance in what appears to be a close election.Over the weekend, City Councilmember Scott Sherman endorsed Assemblymember Todd Gloria over fellow Councilmember Barbara Bry. In a Twitter thread, Sherman stated "After much thought, I can’t in good conscience vote for Barbara Bry. She is inauthentic, inconsistent, and untrustworthy."Sherman went on to say that he had disagreements with Gloria on the issues, but praised him for consistency and authenticity. In an interview with ABC 10News, Gloria said he was grateful for Sherman's endorsement. "Clearly we’re from different political parties and we disagree on many, many issues. But at the end of the day, he’s casting his vote based on character. And what he shared is really meaningful to me.”Bry told ABC 10News she believes Sherman endorsed her opponent because she had defeated him in the primary, as well as in issues two faced together on the council. She also suggested gender played a role. “I made it into the final two, so for the first time in San Diego history there are two democrats in the final two and this probably bruised his male ego a little bit.”According to the most recent ABC 10News/Union-Tribune scientific poll, conducted during the first week of October, the race is a dead heat. 1472
