Bustelo regarded China's experience as an example that Latin American countries could learn from, as the region is subject to political and economic instability which has impeded the long fight against poverty.

The African side is willing to strengthen its cooperation with the Chinese side and join hands to overcome the pandemic, they said, voicing their belief that the traditional friendship between China and Africa will be sublimed further.

Noting the maritime development achievements during the past five years, they also urged addressing problems in terms of resource exploitation, industry development, ecological protection, and legal systems.

Also, the country should consolidate the delisting mechanism for listed companies and crack down on illegal securities activities as crucial measures for comprehensively deepening reform of the capital market, according to the meeting.
