(KGTV) — The 18-year-old girl who pushed her friend off a 60-foot bridge into a Washington state river has been charged with one count of reckless endangerment.Prosecutors filed the charge against Taylor Smith, saying the teen engaged in conduct which created a substantial risk of death and resulted in serious physical injury to Jordan Holgerson," according to ABC News.Reckless endangerment is a gross misdemeanor in Washington state and punishable by up to a year in jail and a maximum fine of ,000.Smith pushed Holgerson off the bridge over the Lewis River at Moulton Falls Regional Park near Vancouver, Wash., on Aug. 7.The fall left Holgerson, 16, with six broken ribs, a punctured lung, and air bubbles in her chest, officials said.Footage showing the fall was captured on cell phone video and soon went viral. A 21-year-old American student was stabbed to death in Rotterdam, Netherlands, allegedly by her roommate, police said Friday.According to a police statement, authorities received reports of a quarrel Wednesday at an apartment on Kralingse Kerklaan in Rotterdam. When they entered the apartment, the statement said, police found Sarah Papenheim with stab wounds and attempted to resuscitate her. Police said those attempts were unsuccessful, and she died of her injuries.An investigation led authorities to the suspect, Papenheim's 23-year-old roommate, who was arrested at the Eindhoven train station, the police statement said. The two had their own rooms in the apartment but shared a kitchen and bathroom, police said.The suspect was identified as Joel Schelling, a source close to the investigation said. Schelling, who is believed to be a Dutch national, appeared in court Friday, the source said.Papenheim had moved to the Netherlands to study at Erasmus University in Rotterdam."Sarah studied psychology and lived in the Netherlands since 2016. A 47-year-old former model involved in a custody dispute plunged to her death from a Manhattan hotel Friday, according to three law enforcement sources.New York police found the bodies of Stephanie Nicolai and her 7-year-old son, Vincent, on a second-floor balcony of the Gotham Hotel, where the two were guests, police said.The bodies were discovered about 8:15 a.m. Friday after a 911 call about an unconscious woman and child at the 25-story boutique hotel on East 46th Street, according to police.Police believe Nicolai's death was a suicide, the law enforcement sources said. (KGTV) - The stepson of a woman whose family dug her body out of a backyard grave in Tijuana may be in the United States, Mexican authorities said Tuesday. The Deputy Attorney General of Justice in Tijuana is searching for Aaron Seth Juarez, 20, on suspicion of killing Fernanda González Serrano in February. González was last heard from Feb. 2. Her sister Erika became concerned and reported her missing when Gonzalez failed to return phone calls for weeks."Right away, I feel that something is wrong," said Erika.González had shared concerns about her stepson, saying he was using drugs and had guns, Erika said.Shortly after González' disappearance, her husband was treated for a gunshot wound in San Diego. He was reportedly unable to answer any questions.Erika created social media posts requesting help to find her sister. Eventually, she received a horrifying phone call.
