CORONADO, Calif. (KGTV) -- Police arrested a second suspect Wednesday in the shooting of an 18-year-old Coronado High School student earlier this month during a jewelry sale meetup. According to police, Alejandro Guzman, 18, was arrested for his alleged involvement in the shooting of Jacob McKanry, who was shot on May 4 near Orange Avenue and 10th Street. Guzman was charged with robbery and transported to San Diego Central Jail. A 17-year-old male was arrested in Chula Vista on May 22 after police served three search warrants in connection to the shooting. That suspect was charged with attempted homicide, robbery, and assault with a deadly weapon. Comedian Jimmy Fallon announced on Sunday that tapings for "The Tonight Show" for the coming week have been canceled due to his mother's death. Fallon had previously canceled Friday's taping at the last minute due to a family matter. (KGTV) - The forward rate of spread of the Dehesa Fire burning in East County has been stopped, Cal Fire tweeted just after 5 p.m. The flames broke out about 3 p.m. east of Dehesa and Sloane Canyon Roads near Sycuan Casino, Cal Fire officials told 10News. Sky10 video indicated the flames were on a ridge above the Sweetwater River and Beaver Hollow.By 8 p.m. the fire had burned 200 acres and was 10 percent contained, Cal Fire reported. The San Diego County Sheriff's Office tweeted evacuations were underway for a "handful of structures" at Sycuan Truck Trail and Japatul Road. Employees of the nearby Dehesa School District offices were told to go home. By 8 p.m., all evacuations were lifted. Fire danger was increased due to dry weather Tuesday.
