Five US Marines who were missing after two aircraft collided mid-air off the coast of Japan on Thursday morning have been declared dead, the US Marine Corps said.The US military called off its search for the Marines on Tuesday, according to a statement from the Marine Expeditionary Force."The Marine Corps has pronounced the five remaining Marines involved in the F/A-18 and KC-130 aviation mishap deceased," the Marine Corps said in a statement. Four Toledo, Ohio, teenagers who pleaded guilty to killing a man when they dropped a sandbag from a highway overpass have been ordered to a youth treatment facility, a court official said."The youth treatment center is a lockdown facility in Toledo. The program runs six months, but there is no set time to release. The average youth spends eight months there," Lori Olender, juvenile division deputy chief for the Lucas County Prosecutor's Office, said in an email.Besides being ordered to the youth treatment facility, the teenagers were given four-year suspended sentences, placed on probation and ordered to perform 30 hours of community service, Olender said.One was charged with murder and felonious assault and three were charged with involuntary manslaughter and vehicular vandalism, she said. All four pleaded guilty.The youths were charged after a sandbag dropped from an interstate overpass crashed through the window of a vehicle below and hit Marquise Byrd, 22, on December 19, 2017. He died later at a hospital.Three of the teens were 14 when the incident happened and one was 13, authorities said. FORT MYERS, Fla. -- A Lehigh Acres, Florida man is facing two counts of child neglect after police say he left two young children alone in a vehicle while he went into a strip club.23-year-old Willie Lee Jordan, Jr. was arrested Thursday night outside of Scarlett's Cabaret in Fort Myers.According to Fort Myers Police, the children were found crying in the back seat of an SUV by a citizen around 11 p.m.  Police were called to the scene, and arrived to find the citizen, two security personnel, and the children outside the vehicle.The SUV 's windows were open about two inches while the children were alone inside.  The good Samaritans were able to instruct the older child to unlock the doors to get out.Staff inside the club made an announcement in an effort to locate the caretaker of the children. That's when Jordan exited the club and was greeted by police.Jordan told officers that he was only inside for one minute, but police had already been on scene for several minutes by that point.Club staff told police Jordan had been at the club earlier that evening but was turned away for a dress code violation. He later returned properly dressed, and was inside the club for about 20 minutes without checking on the children.Jordan was arrested and released Friday on ,000 bond. 1321
