More than 228,000 pounds of Hormel Spam and other canned meat products are being recalled because they might contain shards of metal, according to the US Department of Agriculture.The department's Food Safety Inspection Service said Saturday that the problem was discovered after four customers complained of metal objects in canned Hormel products. NATIONAL CITY (CNS) -  A pedestrian was struck by multiple vehicles and killed while attempting to cross an Interstate 5 off-ramp in National City, authorities said Friday.The crash happened shortly before 8:25 p.m. Thursday on the Civic Center Drive off-ramp from southbound Interstate 5, California Highway Patrol Officer Jake Sanchez said.A man was attempting to cross the off-ramp from an unknown direction when he walked directly into the path of a Toyota Rav4 driven by a 33-year-old woman, Sanchez said. (KGTV) — A teenager is dead after police found him suffering from a gunshot wound in a South Bay alley early Friday.The 17-year-old male was found in the west alley of 1900 C Avenue with a gunshot wound just before 1:30 a.m., according to National City Police Department.Firefighters and first responders arrived at the scene to perform life-saving measures, but the teen died at the scene. We’ve got pumpkins arching over, we’ve got chickens, we’ve got rabbits, we have bees, we have worms, and a cat that guards the whole school," said Thompson.Every inch of her yard is planned out to be the most beneficial and sustainable.
