President Donald Trump’s physical Dr. Sean Conley confirmed Friday that the president is taking an experimental antibody treatment to help him fight the coronavirus following his diagnosis this morning.Dr. Conley said Friday afternoon that Trump is "fatigued."Trump is taking the Regeneron antibody cocktail, which is currently in a clinical trial. The Regeneron trial has only been tried on 275 patients as of this week, but the company said earlier this week that it has showed promising results.Regeneron confirmed that Trump was given the treatment under a "compassionate use request.""In the USA, this type of compassionate use program is also known as an Expanded Access Program (EAP) and is intended for patients with serious or life-threatening conditions, who do not have any viable or available treatment options, and are unable to participate in ongoing clinical trials," Regeneron said in a statement. (AP) — Eight acrobats injured when the rigging suspending them by the hair plummeted to the floor during a circus performance in Rhode Island in 2014 have reached a .5 million settlement with ownership and management of the arena where the circus was held.Zachary Mandell, an attorney for the women, confirmed the settlement, first reported by The Providence Journal.A metal clip that held the acrobats 20 feet above the floor of the Dunkin' Donuts Center snapped.The women sued the Rhode Island Convention Center Authority, which owns the arena, and SMG, which manages it.According to the Associated Press, SMG arranged with Feld Entertainment to bring the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus to Providence.The Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) found that the clip was overloaded after the accident, so they cited Feld and imposed a fine, the AP reported.An attorney for both entities said he could neither confirm nor deny a settlement.Mandell added that insurers would pay the settlement. 1070

President Donald Trump's son-in-law and senior adviser, Jared Kushner, had his White House security clearance restored Wednesday, a person familiar with the matter said, after months of uncertainty stemming in part from his role in the ongoing investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller.Kushner was stripped of his interim clearance in February amid an overhaul of procedures governing access to the nation's most sensitive secrets following the resignation of Rob Porter, the President's staff secretary, who had been allowed to remain in his post for months despite allegations of spouse abuse.The Mueller probe has also hung over Kushner's status in the White House, in part because some of the matters under investigation relate to his role during the campaign and the transition, including contacts with Russians, as well as events that occurred in the early months of the Trump presidency, such as the firing of former FBI Director James Comey.In April, Kushner met with Mueller's investigators for a second time and answered questions for seven hours, according to his attorney, Abbe Lowell.
