After the rapid roll out in the U.K. of Pfizer and BioNtech’s COVID-19 vaccine, Britain’s Medical and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency is warning people who have severe allergies, like those who have to carry around an adrenaline shot, to refrain from getting the vaccine for now.“Two individuals seemed to have a severe allergic reaction,” Dr. William Moss said.Dr. Moss is the executive director of International Vaccine Access Center at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He says we need to better understand what those two people had an allergic reaction to.“This isn’t kind of completely out of the blue," Dr. Moss said. "These kinds of things are rare events, but they sometimes occur, and it’s usually to some kind of component or chemical in the vaccine that the individual’s immune system is responding to in a very abnormal way, creating this very intense allergic reaction.”Even though it’s rare, Dr. Moss says it’s important to provide clarity on issues like this so people can trust the information they’re getting is reliable and true. A white man who allegedly killed two people at a Kroger grocery store in Kentucky tried to enter a predominantly black church nearby minutes before the fatal shooting, police said.The two people killed Wednesday -- Maurice Stallard and Vickie Jones -- were shot in the grocery store and the parking lot, respectively. ALABASTER, Ala. — A photographer in Alabama was able to capture the beauty of a rare yellow cardinal that is taking the internet by storm. Jeremy Black took the photograph of the rare yellow bird in Alabaster, Alabama.According to Geoffrey Hill, a bird curator at Auburn University in Alabama, the bird is a rare male northern cardinal that has a "one in a million" genetic mutation that makes its red feathers turn yellow. Additionally, the mutation is so rare, that only one is seen each year in the United States."This yellow cardinal displays a rare mutation causes the metabolic process to produce a different type of pigment than the typical red coloration," Black wrote on his Facebook page.Black says that he was able to photograph the yellow cardinal after his friend, Charlie Stephenson, noticed the bird at her feeder in January. According to National Geographic, on February 17, Black spent five hours in Stephenson's backyard with a camera in hand, hoping the beautiful bird would make a second appearance. "As soon as it landed, I was starstruck," Black told National Geographic.
