DEER PARK, Texas — A fire burning at a petrochemical storage facility in suburban Houston could burn for two more days as firefighters take a defensive posture and let the blaze burn through fuel stored in tanks at the site, officials said Monday.Ray Russell, spokesman for Channel Industries Mutual Aid, which is helping in the response, said firefighters have had "pretty good success controlling the fire" and stopping it from spreading to other tanks. The tanks that are burning contain gas, oil and chemicals, according to Intercontinental Terminals Company, which owns the facility.In one tank, Russell said, crews are working to pump out a flammable liquid to deprive the fire of fuel. Even with that effort, the fire could burn until Wednesday, he said.A column of black smoke rose from the plant, but the city of Deer Park and ITC said tests indicated the air was not dangerous as of late Monday morning. And for the past four years, he has been trying to reach his goal of growing a 1,000 pound pumpkin, his wife, Christin, told CNN.This year the farmer from Cleveland, Tennessee, had an extra special seed to plant in May - a seed from last year's record-breaking pumpkin grown in Tennessee that weighed more than 1,700 pounds, according to Christin."He was out there daily watering it, covering it during the heat of the day and making sure the beetles didn't get to it," she said.When it was done growing, the pumpkin was hauled onto a trailer. With the help of a neighbor, who had access to a large scale, it was weighed."It's the biggest we ever grew," she said. Days before Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation, a Democratic senator urged the FBI to reach out to a witness who had key information about alleged misconduct by the nominee while at Yale, according to a letter obtained by CNN.The letter comes as The New York Times reported over the weekend that the Times had interviewed more individuals who had corroborated the allegation of Deborah Ramirez, a Yale classmate who alleged Kavanaugh had exposed himself to her at a dorm room party. The Times also reported that there was another previously undisclosed allegation raised by Max Stier, a Yale classmate who told the Times that he had witnessed Kavanaugh engage in another, similar incident.CNN is not reporting any details of the accusation and has not independently corroborated the account. The Times on Sunday evening published an Editor's Note to its original story saying the female victim declined to be interviewed, and her friends told the authors she does not recall the incident.In a letter dated October 2, 2018, Sen.
