Two men are in jail after police say they stole a car -– with an infant inside.About 7:30 p.m. Monday, officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the parking lot of a business in Boise, Idaho.“Evidence indicates that a car had been left running outside of a store, when it was stolen by two men,” according to a Boise Police Department news release. A 6-month-old infant was in the car when it was stolen. A parent pursued the car, until the driver stopped several blocks away.“One of the men exited with the child, who was still strapped into the infant car seat.  (The parent) safely took the child from the man. Thankfully, the child was unharmed,” the release stated.The suspect, later identified as Raymundo Gutierrez, 23, of Boise, was detained at the scene until officers arrived.  The other male fled in the stolen vehicle, officers said.Gutierrez was booked into the Ada County Jail and charged with accessory to grand theft, a felony.About 1:00 a.m. Tuesday, Boise Police received information that the stolen vehicle had been recovered in Canyon County -- and the driver, later identified as Robert DeShazo, was booked into the Canyon County Jail. He’s charged with felony possession of stolen property and driving under the influence, a misdemeanor.  Authorities said both suspects could face additional charges.          1396

Companies have scrambled to cut ties with the National Rifle Association over the past couple of days, and the list continued to grow into the weekend.Delta Air Lines announced Saturday morning that it's ending discounted rates for NRA members. "We will be requesting that the NRA remove our information from their website," the company said in a tweet.United Airlines followed a short time later, saying the company will no longer offer discounts on flights to the NRA annual meeting.And TrueCar, a car buying service, said late Friday that it would end its deal with the NRA as of February 28.The companies were the latest to abandon partnerships with the NRA amid a renewed public debate over tightened gun laws following a school shooting in Florida last week that left 17 dead.First National Bank of Omaha on Thursday pledged to stop issuing an NRA-branded Visa card. A bank spokesperson said "customer feedback" prompted a review of its partnership with the NRA, and it chose not to renew its current contract.There was also a wave of car rental outfits. Enterprise Holdings, which runs the Enterprise, Alamo and National car rental groups, announced that it will end the discount deal it has with the NRA on March 26.On Friday, car rental company Hertz said in a tweet that it's also ending its NRA rental car discount program.The NRA was advertising a Hertz partnership on its "member benefits" page as recently as Friday morning, but that listing disappeared by the afternoon.The National Rifle Association did not immediately comment on Saturday about the decisions by the various companies to sever ties.Avis and Budget, which are owned by the same company, were also listed as discount providers on NRA's website Friday. No suspect description at this time.SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego police are looking for clues after a man that was found injured on a sidewalk in the Bay Terraces neighborhood died early Friday morning.Police and firefighters responded around 12:40 a.m. to a report of a person down in the 2300 block of Spring Oak Way, between Bell Middle and Zamorano Elementary schools.Emergency crews arrived in the area and found the man suffering from traumatic injuries to his upper body, San Diego police Lt. Anthony Dupree said.The man was pronounced dead at the scene, Dupree said.The victim was described as a Hispanic male in his twenties. A skateboard was found at the scene. It's unclear if the man was a resident of the area. No further information was available at this time.Homicide investigators are now working the scene.
